’07 Terralsole Brunello di Montalcino Riserva ~ Tuscany | 160

This is a modern and deeply layered Brunello with soft cherry and tobacco aromas backed by chocolate, cookie dough, caramel, licorice and even a touch of dusty white pepper. The chewy pulpiness of the fruit is very attractive, giving the wine extra intensity and softness in the mouth.

’12 Padelletti Brunello di Montalcino Riserva ~ Tuscany | 220

It’s a wondrously traditional Brunello from one of the region’s pioneers, also demonstrating one of the vintage’s most elegant offerings. Boasts aromas of new leather, pipe tobacco, fragrant purple flower and balsamic notes of eucalyptus. It’s elegant and savory, doling out juicy wild cherry, raspberry preserve, cinnamon and star anise set against firm polished tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced and ensures good aging potential. A lovely wine!

’14 Ornellaia Superiore ~ Bolgheri | 300

2014 Bolgheri Superiore Ornellaia reverts to a style and personality that we have not seen in a long while. The late ripening of the grapes allowed the fruit to fully express its liveliness and freshness. What is particularly striking is the high quality of the tannins on the palate: silky, refined, without rough edges. This wine shows sweet fruit nuances with blackberry and dark currant. Spice, leather and tobacco fill in the rear.

Intense, concentrated and deep ruby-colored, this wine offers elegant, complex aromas of red fruit. In the mouth it is rich and dense, yet harmonious, with sweet, balanced tannins. The wine has a long finish with a depth and structure that ensure its extraordinary longevity.

Highly expressive in aromatic terms, it shows scents of ripe fruit and exotic spices as well as subtle savory accents that lead seamlessly into comparable flavors.

’15 Le Serre Nuove ~ Tuscany | 99

“Baby Ornellaia”, perfectly represents its exceptional vintage, with an intense color and youthful appearance, its intense and ripe fruity aroma with subtle spicy and toasted highlights are detected on the nose. Well-rounded and satin-smooth on the palate, great texture and harmoniously balanced, with a succulent fruitiness which ends with a zesty finish with no sharp edges, freshened by balsamic notes. Blend: 64% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot.

This wine is simply delicious! Very dark, thick and concentrated. Notes of leather, honeycomb, and earth with some dark plum fruit. A very well balanced glass of decadence.

Some lifted notes join tar and floral aromas on the nose while the concentrated palate shows intense earth and rose flavors in a frame of polished tannins. Mineral and tar flavors come through on the lingering finish.

’13 Petrolo Vigna Bòggina Sangiovese ~ Tuscany | 130
Extremely aromatic and perfumed with dark berries, cherries and flowers, as well as hints of rosemary and lavender. Full body, very fine and tight tannins as well as bright and creamy acid. Lovely tension between the fruit and tannins.

13 Tenuta Sant’ Antonio Campo Dei Gigli Amarone della Valpolicella | 150

This wine is ranked in the top 10 for number of awards won among wines from this region. The nose shows tart cherry, dark licorice and a hints of forest floor. On the palate, it is smooth with cherry and herbal notes intermingling against a balanced frame. The finish is dry with tart cherry and cranberry.

’08 Ca’ Nova Ghemme ~ Piemonte | 85

Dark ruby red in color, this wine offers intense aromas of maraschino and tobacco, black cherry, cranberry, white pepper, as well as softer notes of violet and traces of minerality. Juicy and smooth on the palate, with refreshing acidity and a lasting finish.

’14 II fauno di Arcanum ~ Tuscany | 85

The nose explodes with bright raspberries and wild berries, with some floral tones of lavender. Though a Bordeaux-style blend, the palate is more Burgundian with soft elegant tannins and textures. The slightly higher than usual acids firmly frame a potpourri of blueberry and sour cherry. The fruit slowly subsides giving way to exotic spice, reminiscent of cardamom and finishing with sweet black licorice.

’14 Agricola Punica ‘Barrua’ Isola dei Nuraghi IGT ~ Sardinia, Italy | 80

Award winning wine. Deep ruby in color, the wine offers intense aromas and flavors of black fruit, dry herbs and spice. It is full-bodied with a velvety texture and balanced tannins, ending in a lengthy, elegant finish. Matured 18 months in French barrels and 6 months in bottle.

Award winning pink Champagne is intense cherry-pink in color with extremely fine, persistent pinpoint bubbles rising in delicate strands to the surface of the wine. Its classic, aromatic Pinot fragrance of red raspberries and strawberries is offset by elegant, subtle floral and earth nuances. On the palate, the ripe, full berry flavors are vibrant yet refined, delicately balanced by a fresh acidity which carries into a crisp, refreshing finish of persistent length.

’15 Foxen Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyards Block 8 ~ Santa Barbara| 122

An incredible, profound Pinot Noir, Foxen’s ’13 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard Block 8 was completely destemmed and aged 17 months in 50% new French oak. It’s deep ruby color is followed by sensational notes of sweet cherries, black raspberries, crushed flowers and a touch of licorice. Medium to full bodied, layered and multi-dimensional, with seamless texture, this is California Pinot Noir at its finest.

’13 Pisoni Estate Pinot Noir ~ Santa Lucia Highlands | 140

Production of Pisoni Estate Pinot Noir is extremely limited. Gary Pisoni, AKA “The Prince of Pinot”, has done it again! One of the most elegant Pinot Noir’s. The rock-star of the central coast brings us a velvety fine wine with subtle hints of coffee, cedar strawberry and rhubarb. An exquisite wine pairing with fish, white or red meat and any creamy pasta dish…knock yourself out!

’16 Dutton Goldfield Pinot Noir ~ Russian River | 80

The wine shows black cherry fruit and nuances of strawberry, raspberry and nutmeg in the Nose. In the Mouth, the first impression is fresh fruit, then the soft, broad tannins carry notes of cranberry and coriander through a lingering finish.

’15 Penner – Ash Pinot Noir ~ Willamette Valley | 85

A perfumed nose showcases strawberry, anise and tea spice aromatics. Experience ripe, fresh raspberry, red plums and strawberry compote with a hint of subtle cedar. The fine texture and silky tannins enhance the vanilla, brown sugar, and leather notes on the finish.

’15 Ricasoli Casalfero ~ Toscany | 150

Made with 100% Merlot, has intense ruby red color. Blackberries, blackcurrants, dark plums, Chinese spices and hints of vanilla. Full body, incredibly structured tannins, plenty of juicy blue fruit and a long finish. It’s all so balanced and refined yet muscular. Incredible wine!
