2009 Terralsole Brunello di Montalcino ~ Tuscany

$120Ripe berry aromas are punctuated with touches of underbrush, wet soil and thyme. The palate offers up mature black plum, black cherry and espresso alongside bracing but fleeting tannins. A hint of powdered sage characterizes the close.

2013 Tenuta Sant' Antonio Campo Dei Gigli Amarone della Valpolicella

$150This wine is ranked in the top 10 for number of awards won among wines from this region. The nose shows tart cherry, dark licorice and a hints of forest floor. On the palate, it is smooth with cherry and herbal notes intermingling against a balanced frame. The finish is dry with tart cherry and cranberry.

2014 Ornellaia Superiore ~ Bolgheri

$3002014 Bolgheri Superiore Ornellaia reverts to a style and personality that we have not seen in a long while. The late ripening of the grapes allowed the fruit to fully express its liveliness and freshness. The wine opens to a beautifully saturated and dark appearance. The wine shows sweet fruit nuances with blackberry and dark currant. Spice, leather and tobacco fill in the rear.

2008 Ca' Nova Ghemme ~ Piemonte

2006 Tenuta di Arceno Arcanum ~ Tuscany

Presenting a dark ruby, opaque center, this Cabernet Franc blend boasts elegant aromas of dark plums, black cherries and hints of anise while lavender and spice add to the senses followed by a dusty mineral core. The palate of this wine reveals flavors of black fruits and fig followed by a moderate plus acidity creating a balance that exudes a full-bodied texture.

2015 Ricasoli Casalfero ~ Tuscany

$150Made with 100% Merlot, has intense ruby red color. Blackberries, blackcurrants, dark plums, Chinese spices and hints of vanilla. Full body, incredibly structured tannins, plenty of juicy blue fruit and a long finish. It's all so balanced and refined yet muscular. Incredible wine!

2016 Bouchaine Pinot Noir – Napa

$85A tangy fresh cherry nose opens to cocoa, cola, and notes of nutmeg. The juicy lip-smacking entry shows lovely cherry and wild strawberry flavors with gorgeous rose petal and baking spices in the background. Smooth tannin and vibrant acidity make this a perfect wine for food pairings.

2016 MacPhail Pinot Noir Mardikian Estate ~ Sonoma County

$160An estate-grown vineyard-designate, this impressive offering is smooth in cherry, berry and clove, with wisps of black pepper dancing around its edges. The finish is long and spicy. It's complex yet fun and will do well at the table though it's also easy enough to enjoy on its own.

2012 Padelletti Brunello di Montalcino Riserva ~ Tuscany

$220It's a wondrously traditional Brunello from one of the region's pioneers, also demonstrating one of the vintage's most elegant offerings. Boasts aromas of new leather, pipe tobacco, fragrant purple flower and balsamic notes of eucalyptus. It's elegant and savory, doling out juicy wild cherry, raspberry preserve, cinnamon and star anise set against firm polished tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced and ensures good aging potential. A lovely wine!

2016 Le Serre Nuove ~ Tuscany

$140"Baby Ornellaia", perfectly represents its exceptional vintage, with an intense color and youthful appearance, its intense and ripe fruity aroma with subtle spicy and toasted highlights are detected on the nose. Well-rounded and satin-smooth on the palate, great texture and harmoniously balanced, with a succulent fruitiness which ends with a zesty finish with no sharp edges, freshened by balsamic notes. Blend: 64% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot.

2004 Damilano Barolo Riserva Lecinquevigne ~ Piemonte

2014 Il fauno di Arcanum ~ Tuscany

$85The nose explodes with bright raspberries and wild berries, with some floral tones of lavender. The palate is more Burgundian with soft elegant tannins and textures. The slightly higher than usual acids firmly frame a potpourri of blueberry and sour cherry. The fruit slowly subsides giving way to exotic spice, reminiscent of cardamom and finishing with sweet black licorice.

2013 Agricola Punica 'Barrua' Isola dei Nuraghi IGT ~ Sardinia, Italy

$90Award winning wine. Deep ruby in color, the wine offers intense aromas and flavors of black fruit, dry herbs and spice. It is full-bodied with a velvety texture and balanced tannins, ending in a lengthy, elegant finish. Matured 18 months in French barrels and 6 months in bottle.

2016 Dutton Goldfield Pinot Noir ~ Russian River

$80The wine shows black cherry fruit and nuances of strawberry, raspberry and nutmeg in the Nose. In the Mouth, the first impression is fresh fruit, then the soft, broad tannins carry notes of cranberry and coriander through a lingering finish.

2015 Foxen Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyards Block 8 ~ Santa Barbara

$122An incredible, profound Pinot Noir was completely destemmed and aged 17 months in 50% new French oak. Its deep ruby color is followed by sensational notes of sweet cherries, black raspberries, crushed flowers and a touch of licorice. Medium to full bodied, layered and multi-dimensional, with seamless texture, this is California Pinot Noir at its finest.

NV Taittinger Brut Prestige Rose ~ France
